Conservation Journeys

Primaterra’s experience takes place on the island of Kefalonia, in partnership with Wildlife Sense, one of Europe’s leading sea turtle conservation organisations.
During their stay, families and corporate groups join the Wildlife Sense research team, becoming active participants in ongoing conservation work. Guests take part in real field activities such as nest monitoring, beach surveys and habitat protection, contributing directly to the protection of endangered sea turtles and fragile coastal ecosystems.
Participants are fully integrated into the research programme for the day, gaining rare insight into the science, methodology and challenges behind long‑term conservation efforts. Each evening, they return to their own luxury hotel, private villa or liveaboard, balancing hands‑on conservation with comfort, privacy and time to reflect.
